The Mondrian Apartments are located in Powell St, Waterloo NSW,  4kms from the Sydney CBD to the south. Built in 2003 the complex has 4 main buildings comprising of approximately  137 apartments, up to seven floors in height.

This Frank Stanisic designed contemporary apartment complex has been recognized with the 2003 Wilkinson award for residential buildings, conferred by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects NSW. The Mondrian Apartments is renowned for its eco-conscious design (all apartments have a northerly aspect and cross flow ventilation in mind).  All apartments have generous balcony or courtyards, most of which overlook a beautifully landscaped swimming pool.

Since the completion of construction, notable capital improvements to the building include upgrading of security (CCTV cameras, centralized security card system, restricted fire and lift access), Foxtel cabling and surrounding street lighting.
